Gullivers Tanker at RWM Show

Featuring on the Gullivers’ outdoor stand at this year’s RWM is a new 18 tonne High Volume Combination (HVC) tanker from Whale Tankers.

Gullivers’ new HVC is destined for its general hire fleet and will be used for gully cleaning and sewer jetting for a range of customers in the municipal sector.  The company has purchased a total of 238 vehicles from Whale since the relationship was first established in 2003.

This latest addition takes the current quantity of Whale vehicles in the Gullivers’ fleet to 140.  During the last 12 months, the company has ordered 16 tankers from Whale, which include five HVCs, five Medium Volume Combinations (MVCs), two 26 tonne KiloWhales, two 32 tonne KaiserWhale recyclers, and two 18 tonne KaiserWhale dirty water recyclers.

Including a range of equipment for performance and health and safety purposes specified by Gullivers, the RWM show vehicle offers an exceptional jetting performance level of 2000PSI at 58 gpm and provides a primary hose reel fitted with 100 metres of 1” thermoplastic hose and a 10 metre leader hose.  Other key features include a 5” boom fitted with high pressure boom jets for ease of gully cleaning from a separate jetting pump, a Mistral 4 series vacuum pump and a Mistral pump PTO powered for quick gully operation.  Anti-vibration gully handles and soft start and safe on both hose reels are also fitted.

The successful business relationship has been established during the last 13 years and is due to the high level of technical know-how, quality manufacturing, reliability and parts and service back up provided by Whale.

Philippe Harding, Managing Director for Gullivers, explains: “We purchased our first Whale tankers originally due to their excellent reputation in the market place and this has been proven to us time and time again.  We have continued with purchasing their tankers as this has enabled us to deliver the latest innovative equipment to our customers in the waste water market.”

Mark Warmington, Managing Director for Whale Tankers, added: “It is great that Gullivers are using RWM to showcase their latest HVC from Whale and this highlights the strength of our working relationship and their confidence in our product. We’d encourage visitors to the show to go along and take a look for themselves as well as dropping into the Whale stand to find out more about this and the other tankers we have available for a wide range of applications.”
