Built to meet Taylors’ exact requirements, our experienced team worked closely with the company on the design and development of tri-axle semi-trailer based tipping tanker, including a special frame to accommodate its large auxiliary diesel engine drive.
The vehicle is set to be used in a wide range of industrial applications including tank cleaning, deep lifting, removal of heavy sludge and hazardous wastes, as well as the cleaning of boats.
Alan Lawie, Engineering Manager for Taylors Industrial Services, said: “We’ve worked with Whale for a number of years now and currently have approximately 20 of their vehicles operating in our fleet.
“Whale vehicles offer us long life with excellent reliability and their after-sales service is second to none. In line with this, we particularly like the fact they have a Scottish based service engineers, who are able to respond quickly and efficiently to any maintenance requirements we may have.”
Chris Anderson, commercial director for Whale Tankers, added: “We first worked with Taylors 27 years ago and today they have numerous Whale vehicles in their fleet including KaiserWhales, ADR tipping tankers, WhaleVacs, ADR combi units and liquid ring trailers, to name but a few.
“This new ADR tipping tanker is a particularly impressive vehicle and we look forward to showing its excellent features and benefits to both existing and new customers at this year’s CV Show.”
