RWM 08 – Recycling & Waste Management Industry Exhibition 16th-18th September 2008

Whale Tankers will be demonstrating their deepest lifting Kaiser-Whale yet at the RWM 08 exhibition in Birmingham’s NEC. The Kaiser-Whale is a sewer cleaning Jet-Vac with continuous water recycling, giving significant operational, environmental and economic benefits.

The vehicle, with dual vacuum pumps for increased operating performance, will be the 3rd Kaiser-Whale in the rapidly expanding ‘100% Whale’ tanker fleet of the successful Bridgend-based company M.D. Pipeline Consultants Ltd.

The newest Kaiser-Whale addition has dual Kaiser KWP Liquid Ring Vacuum pumps, producing 3100m3/h (2500 cfm) and 26” hg vacuum. On the pressure circuit a Kaiser KWP 3100i Liquid Ring pump gives an operating performance of 2600m3/h (1500 cfm).

After extensively researching the tanker market in the UK and Europe, Managing Director David Evans decided on a Whale as the first tanker in his fleet in 2006. Since then the performance and quality of the vehicles, as well as the service and parts backup has meant David keeps returning to Whale when adding to his fleet.

David Evans commented “Since purchasing our first tanker from Whale they have certainly lived up to their reputation for after-sales support, and we have been very pleased with the performance and reliability of the vehicles.”

David added “I am especially pleased to hear that they have recently expanded their team of Fleet Service Engineers with a dedicated engineer for Wales”
