Job Description

  • Spraying commercial vehicles to a high quality finish
  • Preparing vehicle for the paint process
  • General paint shop duties including paint mixing
  • Carrying out maintenance tasks within the booths
  • Carrying out touch up duties when required
  • Ensure high quality standards and safe working practices
  • Rework as required
  • Any other ad hoc duties

Job Requirements

  • Experience in commercial vehicle paint spraying is essential
  • Experience in using various paint systems including epoxy primers, high solid top coats, base and clear coats
  • Good housekeeping
  • Ability to use PPE as directed
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to achieve targets and cope well under pressure
  • Experience of working in a busy paint shop environment
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety regulations

  • Starting salary £26,000 – £29,000 (dependent on skills and experience) with the ability to achieve £32,900

Job Description

This role will include: –

  • Vehicle Testing and Inspection to customers bespoke specifications
  • Complying with Health and Safety procedures
  • Ensuring the continuous flow of work through the Test Area
  • Liaising with the relevant parties internally to improve the vehicles quality and flow through the process
  • Compliance with ISO9001 and 14001
  • Fault finding, troubleshooting and resolving problems on a day to day basis

On the job training will be conducted where appropriate

Personal Atrributes

  • Skills to include, self-motivation, enthusiasm and diplomacy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be of a practical and decisive nature with the ability to use common sense when reviewing issues
  • Have the desire to learn on a daily basis and be able to pass this onto others
  • Be a good problem solver with the ability to see an issue to its end and explain this to others
  • The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

Skills Required

  • An engineering background including knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and electric circuits
  • Ability to Drive
  • An understanding of ISO9001 standards
  • The ability to manage your own time
  • Able to read and inspect to customers specifications
  • Commercial vehicle body builder experience would be an advantage

Location    –    Factory Based

Job Description

The role will include:

  • Servicing vehicles both Whale and Non Whale
  • Repairs to vehicles both Whale and Non Whale
  • Completion of all paperwork in a timely manner
  • Identifying opportunities for additional work and reporting this
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
  • Adhere, and work, to Health and Safety regulations

Job Requirements

A Background in the majority of the following areas

  • Vehicle Electrics
  • Pneumatics
  • Hydraulics
  • General Mechanical Skills
  • Fault finding skills
  • Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship
  • Whilst not essential knowledge of commercial vehicles or agricultural machines would be beneficial
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to read and follow drawings
  • There will be occasions where you need to work outside in all weathers
  • It is essential that you are able to work in confined spaces and at height

  • Starting salary £25,000 – £29,000 (dependent on skills and experience) with the ability to get up to £32,900

  • Design and support PLC based control systems
  • Electrical and electronic design and support of new and existing products
  • Full training will be given to the right individual

Job Requirements

  • Graduate Electrical or Electronic Engineer (degree or HNC/D)
  • Interest in control and automation systems
  • Interest or experience with PLC programming and testing
  • Looking for training and development
  • Basic hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge would be useful

  • Ability to work under pressure
