Job Description:

Management of busy and expanding parts department suppling a comprehensive range of tanker parts for Whale Tankers and from other manufacturers.

This role will include:

  • Management of Parts Department
  • Management of parts team including rota’s
  • Complying with Health and Safety procedures
  • Ensuring Customer satisfaction
  • Business development
  • Managing Warranty Returns
  • Signing of customer credits
  • Management of customer impressed stock
  • Managing Sales margins
  • Management and development of Whale Parts Direct website
  • Attending trade show as required
  • Regular meeting with Key accounts
  • Management of couriers
  • Managing parts exports
  • Attending customers sites when required
  • Occasional overseas travel

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Cash receipt allocations and banking
  • Chasing of Debts via phone/email
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts
  • Resolving customer queries
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries
  • Running Debtor reports including monthly statements
  • Placing customers on hold for non payment
  • Taking court action where applicable
  • Maintaining customer records/credit limits/setting up new accounts
  • Occasional reception desk cover
  • Any other ad hoc duties

Job Requirements:

  • Credit Control experience
  • An aptitude to communicate effectively across all levels and functions in the business

  •  Fabrication
  • Chassis fitting

Job Requirements:

Essential:

  • Background working in a production
  • environment particularly body building
  • Basic hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Being mechanically minded
  •  Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to use your own initiative

Desirable:

  • Mild Steel and Stainless Steel Mig welding experience
  • Experience in both light and heavy gauge welding
  • Fabrication and fitting skills
  • Forklift truck and overhead crane licence

    inspection checklist
  • Ensuring all work carried out meets the quality standards set

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Working through the test procedure to ensure our commercial tankers are built to
    specification and comply with relevant legislation
  • Complying with Health and Safety procedures
  • Ensuring the continuous flow of work through the Test Area
  • Fault finding, troubleshooting and resolving problems on a day to day basis
  • On the job training will be conducted where appropriate

Job Requirements:

Essential:

  • An engineering background including knowledge and understanding of pneumatic,
    hydraulic and electric circuits
  • Whale Tankers Product Knowledge – ability to operate/run vehicle systems.
  • Ability to drive is essential
  • The ability to manage your own time
  • Able to read and inspect to customers specifications
  • Knowledge and experience working with commercial vehicles, plant machinery / HGV
    vehicles
  • Be of a practical and decisive nature with the ability to use common sense when
    reviewing issues
  • Have the desire to learn on a daily basis
  • Be a good problem solver with the ability to see an issue to its end
  • The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Working in the Final Assembly area of our factory, building our tankers after the paint process has been completed
  • Fitting pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to our tankers
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
  • Adhering, and working, to Health and Safety regulations
  • Full training will be given to the right individual

Job Requirements:

Essential:

  • Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
  • Ability to understand drawings
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Team working
  • Attention to detail, working to high standards
  • Being mechanically minded
  • Ability to work under pressure

Desirable:

  • Experience in or an aptitude for vehicle electrical systems would be beneficial
