Salary: Starting rate of £29,000-£31,000 with the ability to get to £34,600

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Working in a fast paced environment as part of the Tank House Team to deliver a high quality of work on time.
  • Working in a team environment to complete the tank build process.
  • Understanding the relevant legislation and procedures to ensure that our tanks are welded to the standard required
  • The role includes welding in both Mild and Stainless Steel at a variety of thicknesses
  • Work to standard operating procedures and engineering data sheets to complete the welding process
  • Work in accordance with Whale Health & Safety policy and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintenance of a clean, organised and productive work area
  • Effectively communicate with members of the team to ensure the process runs smoothly.

Job Requirements:

  • It is essential that you have MIG welding experience in both Mild and Stainless steel at various thicknesses
  • Pipe welding experience is desirable
  • The role will require the successful candidate to pass multiple welder qualification
  • Background working in a production environment
  • A positive attitude
  • Ability to understand SOP’s to assemble components for our tankers
  • Good communication skills
  • Methodical and organised approach to tasks
  • Good time management
  • It would be an advantage to have a forklift and overhead crane licence

Job Requirements:

Essential:

  • Background working in a production
  • environment particularly body building
  • Basic hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge

Desirable:

  • Mild Steel and Stainless Steel Mig welding experience

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Assisting in all areas within the busy stores department
  • Supervise 7 staff across Goods Inwards, Kit Picking and Dispatch areas
  • Responsible for effective stock control
  • Ensure quick turnaround on receipt and storage of inbound stock
  • Ensure OTIF targets are achieved trough accurate picking and dispatch
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels to ensure availability for internal and external customers
  • Ensure a smooth flow of goods being received, stored and distributed to production, spares and service
  • Assist Logistics & Procurement Manager to maintain accurate process and procedures
  • Involvement in recruitment and performance reviews of direct reports in line with KPI’s
  • Provide feedback for supplier performance reviews
  • Provide cover when necessary for all direct reports
  • Continual improvement of the department
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are met to ISO 45001:2018
  • Ensure Quality standards are met to ISO 9001:2015
  • Ensure Environmental standards are met to ISO 14001:2015
  • Ensure good house keeping
  • Assist other departments where required
  • Any other ad hoc responsibilities Full training will be given to the right individual

Job Requirements:

  • Previous Supervisory experience in a Stores/Warehouse
  • Experience with an MRP System
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Computer literate including Microsoft Word, Excel and Office
  • Flexible, hard working and reliable
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Department: Logistics (factory based)

Salary: Start rate £19,500 – £20,000 dependent on experience

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Support in Recruitment and managing employee lifecycle
  • Maintaining records of employees on our HRIS System
  • Liaising with training providers, employees and ensuring up to date certification and updating the same on HRIS
  • Taking ownership of safety briefings, fire role calls, accident administration
  • Updating Skills Matrix at regular intervals
  • Supporting all HR related enquiries or requests and providing prompt, accurate and thorough response to inquiries and questions, escalating to HR Manager as required
  • Working with the HR team to provide cover for all HR issues
  • Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, and ensuring the integrity of HR records and conduct
  • An enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn and flexible in approach
  • Any other ad hoc responsibilities

Job Requirements:
