Job Description

The role will include: –

  • Working in the main production area building our tankers
  • Pipe welding in both Mild Steel and Stainless Steel
  • Fabrication
  • Chassis fitting
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
  • Adhering, and working, to Health and Safety regulations

Job Requirements

  • Background working in a production environment particularly body building is an advantage
  • Forklift truck and overhead crane licence an advantage
  • Mild Steel and Stainless Steel Mig welding experience is desirable
  • Experience in both light and heavy gauge welding is desirable
  • Basic hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge would be useful
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Fabrication and fitting skills is desirable
  • Being mechanically minded is essential

  • Starting salary is between £25,000 – £28,500 dependent on skills and experience with the ability to progress to £32,000

Job Description

The role will include: –

  • Assisting in all areas within the busy stores department
  • Goods inwards

Job Description

The role will include: –

  • Support with producing technically compliant hydraulic schematics and supporting engineering documentation that meet both application and customer’s requirements.
  • Specifying and selecting hydraulic components and equipment to meet the design requirements.
  • Supporting to manage hydraulic systems for key projects as required.
  • Support development testing, design validation, commissioning and fault finding activities. (so practical experience is required)
  • Ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Support with hydraulic system expertise to the rest of the business. (Production, Technical, Service, Sales & Parts)
  • Carry out engineering activities to support the hydraulic engineering projects.

Job Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 / HNC level education in an engineering or technical subject. (would be an advantage)
  • Hydraulic training at the NPFC or Bath University (or equivalent) would be an advantage.
  • A minimum of a projects lifecycle practical experience.
  • Experience in designing and developing and implementing hydraulic systems into mobile equipment would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of open loop and close loop hydraulic systems and proportional control.
  • Knowledge of load sensing systems and other types of pump controls.
  • Ability to interpret and understand a hydraulic circuit.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and team work skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Solid Works & AutoCAD (or equivilient).
  • Innovative in approach to solution generation.
  • Have a positive proactive attitude.
  • General interest and willingness’ to learn about hydraulic engineering within mobile equipment.
  • General knowledge of pneumatics, electronics, water and vacuum systems would be an advantage.

Job Description

The role will include: –

  • Monitor and review contractors risk assessments and insurance documentation
  • Monitor and review the planned maintenance schedule
  • Ensure regular internal inspections and safety checks are completed throughout the site
  • Oversee servicing of Breathing Apparatus kits
  • Monitor and review invoices and spending costs
  • Produce orders for maintenance or inspection work carried out
  • Support with Engineering Admin/Homologation processes
  • Support Engineering Admin Team creating Operator Manuals
  • Provide ad hoc support where required

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing background preferred
