Whale offer a range of industry related training courses and are an Energy & Utility Skills accredited Gold training provider.

Drain & Sewer Cleaning Using High Pressure Water

The course is designed for sewerage tanker operators and sewer jetting operatives, using Van pack and Trailer Jetters or Jetvac and Combination units. The course will operate over two days including a Health and Safety module and practical assessment.

Working In Confined Space Training

This two-day course provides knowledge of confined spaces and their inherent dangers. The course provides underpinning knowledge to plan, enter, work and exit such areas, including via a vertical shaft, and where escape breathing apparatus is used as part of a planned means of self rescue.

Vacuum Tanker & Jetvac Training

This is a one day practical training course. The course is designed for experienced and novice Sewerage Tanker Drivers and Sewer Jetting Operatives. Developed with Whale Tankers it is aimed at crews who are required to safely operate vacuum tankers.

Safe Isolation & De-Ragging Of Dry & Wet Well Pumps

This is a one-day practical training course specifically designed for Sewerage Operatives, who in their normal course of work are required to correctly isolate and de-rag shaft driven dry well pumps and submersible wet well pumps.

Delegates on all courses will receive a “Certificate of Training” and EUS photographic identification card. They will also appear on the Energy & Utility Skills Register as a result of their attendance on this course, once they have demonstrated to the course tutor through written assessment and group practical exercises that they understand the dangers and can implement the safe systems of work explained to them in the course.
