Whale Tankers will be exhibiting at Tank-ex this week and presenting a selection of its innovative and versatile range of vehicles.

On the Whale stand and following on from its debut and success at the recent CV Show and APSE Scotland exhibitions, is the CityWhale Micro. This is from their new range of lightweight vehicles designed for city jetting and suction operation and is a joint development project between Whale and its French partner, Baroclean. A larger model, the CityWhale Major is scheduled to be available later in 2014.

A new video featuring the CityWhale Micro is being shown for the first time on the Whale stand and will be available to view on http://youtu.be/lOHjJyO7kSA after the exhibition.
Also being showcased on the Whale Tankers’ stand will be the latest addition to the TIP Tanker Services fleet, the Whale MVC (Medium Volume Combination) which features a number of new and innovative options, including Whale’s ESN (Emissions, Smell and Noise) Environmental Package.

Whale is also introducing the latest addition to the KaiserWhale range, the Urban Recycler, which has been developed with cost effectiveness, lightweight specification and most importantly, ‘blow back’ prevention in mind.

Mark Warmington, managing director for Whale Tankers, explains: “Our latest addition to the KaiserWhale family of products is particularly suitable for private contractors’ use, having been designed and developed by our engineers for customers working with small sewers and drains where ‘blow back’ prevention is vitally important.”

The Urban Recycler vehicle that will on show at Tank-ex has been specified by BM Tankering, who are one of Whale’s established customers. Fitted to a Volvo FE 26 tonne GVW Euro 5 chassis, this exhibition vehicle includes a range of special features including the Mistral 9 Series vacuum and pressure system, which is a continuous rated vacuum pump.

Mark Warmington added: “We’re looking forward to this year’s Tank-ex and to highlighting our innovative and versatile approach to vehicle design and development.

“All three vehicles on display at the show are excellent examples of how our team of engineers work in partnership with our customers to deliver vehicles that provide the best possible solution to meet their specialist needs.”
